We regularly host students and researchers from around the world to work with the collections as part of their research

The collections held in the Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM) are of universal significance, representing the history, science, culture and knowledge of all major global civilisations. Each institution is a centre for research and teaching, providing valuable resources for students and researchers from Oxford and around the globe.

Ashmolean University Engagement Programme (UEP)

Established in 2012 with funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the UEP works with departments across the University to enhance the impact of teaching and learning through objects.

GLAM Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships

Launched in 2016, Oxford University Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM) are run an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP) Programme offering up to four fully funded doctoral studentships
per year.
